Songwriting Workshops
Songwriting can seem a daunting task as a musician, but TIMEʼs programme delivers a concise and accessible formula making this accessible to everyone. Over the years, TIME have worked with groups to produce, perform and record their own material. This has then been accessible to purchase on a national scale, and local and wider communities have had opportunities to witness the groups perform. This in turn has promoted confidence and a sense of purpose and well-being for all those involved.
Instrument Tuition
Our instructors are available to take you from beginner to advanced levels of instrument performance on guitar (acoustic and electric), bass guitar, and drums. Both tab and musical notation can be catered for.
Our instructors can also assist with vocal coaching, singing techniques, and breathing exercises to allow participants to utilize their voice to its fullest potential.
Sensory & Therapeutic
TIME deliver effective sensory sessions catering for those across the entire disability spectrum. Particular attention is focussed on motor skill usage, communication development, changes in body language and movement and the aural impact that atmospheric and sensory based music provides. Utilising a variety of worldwide instruments and combining musical performance, we are able to create settings that both stimulate and sooth the participants senses and general wellbeing.
Dementia Sessions
TIMEʼs dementia programme consists of live music performance of genres spanning across the decades, but also encourages attendeeʼs to physically participate in collaboration with our instructors. Musical exercises are conducted to stimulate the mind, with focus on listening, responsiveness and fine motor skill usage. Our instructors are available to take musical requests in advance of sessions, so that we are able to perform particular songs of relevance and interest to each environment we attend.
Electronic Music Workshops
As well as working with hand held instruments, TIME also cater for the electronic music production domain. By utilising drum machines, samplers, synthesisers and a variety of other devices, we have assisted attendees development with DJ skills, beat production and sampling and synthesis.
